All great things start with a question to a deep desire for something to change: “Why don’t you start __________?”

13 Canadian men heard a similar question, longing to answer it in each of their lives. Unfamiliar to one another they went, unprepared, unsure, into the mystery of experiencing an XCC and in 2016 The 4th Musketeer Canada was born. The 4th Musketeer movement is now expanding worldwide with bases in the USA, Canada, The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, Poland, Ukraine, South Africa, Australia, and Egypt. Efforts are also underway in multiple countries across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Central and South America, and the Pacific Islands.

The 4th Musketeer came into existence from a question!  One evening in September 2007, Ruth Stoorvogel told her husband, Henk, “What will you do with the men in the Church – they are asleep!”  He imagined what would happen to our Churches and to our world if men had awoken to their Faith as an adventure with Brothers in the pursuit of Justice?  There would be a Global elevating movement of God’s Sons! Inspiring men to a more fulfilled life based on the person of Jesus Christ and inspired by the character D’Artagnan, the protagonist in the book The Three Musketeers, the XCC concept was developed. An epic adventure where men experience great physical challenge, mental exhaustion and wild inspiration; all for a greater cause. A movement where men’s hearts are awakened.
